Our privacy promise

1. Who we are

NACHKLANG is operated by Benjamin Borowski (see Contact below). This policy covers both the NACHKLANG app and this website.

2. Data processed in the app

The NACHKLANG app processes the following data exclusively on your device:

• Documents you add (death certificate, bank statements) – stored only in your device's local storage
• Detected account information and analysis results
• Completed letter templates and their placeholders (name, address, date)
• Progress data (completed tasks, checklist status)
• Your selected region for the built-in rule set

None of this data ever leaves your device. There is no transmission to external servers of any kind. You can delete everything at any time by resetting the case in the app or uninstalling the app.

3. In-app purchase

The one-time purchase of the full version is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Their respective privacy policies apply to the payment process. NACHKLANG receives no payment details and no personal information from the purchase.

4. Notifications

If you enable notifications, deadline reminders are scheduled and triggered locally on your device. No data is sent to external services for this purpose.

5. This website

Hosting: This website is served through a web hosting provider. Technically necessary server log files are collected (IP address, date, time, page requested, browser type). These logs are not combined with other data and are deleted within 7 days.

Email form (waitlist): If you sign up through the form on the home page, your email address is processed by Formspree (formspree.io). You will receive exactly one message when the app launches. Your address is not stored beyond that, and you can opt out at any time by emailing info@nachklang.app. More information: Formspree Privacy Policy.

Google Fonts: This website loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). Your IP address is transmitted to Google in the process. More information: Google Privacy Policy.

No cookies, no analytics: This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising services.

6. Your rights and choices

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Rectify inaccurate personal information
• Erase your personal information
• Object to or restrict certain processing

In practice, this is simple: the only personal information we ever hold is the email address you may have submitted through the waitlist form. We never sell or share personal information. To exercise any right, email info@nachklang.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). All app data lives only on your device, so you can delete it yourself at any time.

7. Children's privacy

NACHKLANG is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
